Our mission is to revolutionize support for parents in recovery who are rebuilding their families. Founded by someone who has personally walked this challenging path, we understand that every journey is unique. We are not just another resource page—we are a vibrant, interactive community offering personalized guidance, real-time connection, and practical tools beyond the basics to meet parents where they are. Through innovative courses, peer mentorship, engaging activities, and emotional support, we empower parents to heal, grow, and confidently reunite with their children. We believe in transforming struggle into strength by fostering genuine connection, hope, and joy every step of the way.
Start Your Journey
Before officially launching, The North Star Project invited a handful of early users to explore its resources and share honest feedback. Their experiences have helped shape the project, and we're grateful they chose to share a part of their journey.
The Northstar project gave me extra resources so I can show that Im really serious about getting my kids back. The extra courses I did was to show I will do every little thing to prove myself im serious about getting my life back on track and to prove that no matter how big or small I will do any little thing to get my kids back.
"The North Star Project reminded me that everyone is diffrent with how recovery treats them. My recovery path may not be the same as yours but we can all still make it.
Everywhere I went I was around things i shouldnt be around. So I decided to start my life over living in my car. When i first got out of rehab all i literally had was my car 4 shirts, and a pair of shorts. The North Star Project helped me with a hygeine kit 2 days before I started my new job. I fel so much more comfortable. When it cam time for a hair follicle i was $22 short on being able to pay for it. The North Star Project made it happen. Living in my car was somewhat of a trigger to falling back into old habits, but knowing I had support kept me going.
The Northstar Project gave me that extra little boost of confidence I needed to stay on track and helped me find other ways to cope.
Im in the first 2 months of recovery, Ive always relapsed within the first 30 days because I would struggle with my cravings. Since turning to the northstar project everytime I have craving im able to listen to music and focus on one of the activities. It has made it alot easier to get past my moments of cravings.
